We can work it out...

Looking for a worktable solution? Look no further than our customizable, hand crafted, reclaimed wood furniture. This stately work table is the latest addition to our Old Lumber Collection.
You'll find it front and center in our Burlingame store, and near the back of our Menlo Park showroom.
The robust scale and rustic top provide the ideal workspace for projects large and small.

This table also accomodates bar-height stools to create a unique pub-height gathering spot.
We're loving the french laundry slip-covered stools pictured above.

Depending on your needs, we can also build coordinating bookcases, seating, mirrors, and cabinets to go along with the rustic table.

Introducing...The Cricket Table

The latest addition to our Old Lumber furniture collection is the Cricket Table. This historical design can be recognized by its characteristic round top over three leg base. Available in custom sizes and a variety of finish options, this table is the perfect bedside accent or armchair perch.
Old Lumber Cricket Table

A little history on this design...
The cricket table was originally introduced during the Jacobean period, (1600-1688). Jacobean furniture inspired many early American styles. Its massive, sturdy characteristics and simple construction methods have been replicated for centuries.

Old Lumber Showroom in Las Vegas

I recently had the privilege of designing the Las Vegas showroom for our favorite vendor, Old Lumber!

It was so much fun to create unique vignettes to showcase this incredible collection of reclaimed wood furniture. To help tell the story of the Old Lumber collection, we enhanced each vignette with salvaged and vintage goods. Old windows and doors became interior backdrops, while vintage books and rusty, old toolboxes lined the shelves. We made light fixtures from old wine barrel straps and sculptural driftwood, we re-purposed old frames as chalkboard signage, and we softened the whole look with burlap and grain sack pillows atop natural, linen sofas. Many of our traditional "Harvest" signatures could be found throughout the casually elegant space.

We enjoyed a fantastic response to our design and had such a wonderful time sharing this amazing resource with retailers from around the world.

Here are some of my favorite highlights...

I can't wait to integrate these fabulous new looks into the Harvest stores!

Story Boards

If these walls could talk, I wonder what stories they'd tell. Clad in rustic, reclaimed boards, these walls exude so much history and character, and give these rooms a sense of place.
a room divider with deep patina separates the kitchen and lends character to the adjacent living area.

vertical emphasis and a soft cool palette create a lofty and dreamy appeal in this attic lounge

distressed boards in the workspace might help this writer find inspiration in the past

the reclaimed, mixed-orientation walls and lighting scheme are dreamy

Cool, calm and collected

This look is actually achieved with wallpaper, printed with images of old, reclaimed planks. Looks just like the real thing!

Reclaimed Walls

I had to share this fantastic living room image.
I just love the reclaimed wall paneling, positioned horizontally for a restful appeal.

Cool Kitchen

What a great utilitarian kitchen!
I love the pockets of reclaimed wood shelving on either side of the range.
The antique kichen island with marble top is such a statement.
I admire the functional transparency of the glass-front refrigerator.
Wish I could see more!
