This Chair Is Juuuuust Right!

We've scoured our sources to find the ideal dining chair to pair with our robust dining tables, and have finally found one that is juuust right! Even Goldilocks would agree this chair is not to big or too small, too short or too tall, too soft or too firm, too rustic or too refined, but practically perfect in every way!
The simple, classic silhouette and durable, distressed leather cover make this an ideal chair to pair with our rustic reclaimed lumber tables for everyday dining.

The added camelback shape, tailored stitching, and nailhead detail are what elevate this chair to formal dining room status.

It mat simply be the perfect Harvest chair!
Wouldn't you love to enhance your dining room with these gorgeous chairs at your next holiday gathering?

Color Update: Gray, White and Natural Kitchens

We're Inspired By...Dan Marty

The images above showcase the work of the extremely-talented Dan Marty. I admire his combinations of old and new, raw and refined. His interiors have an inviting appeal, and never lack the ever-important element of surprise.

Cabin Fever...

I'm heading up to our family cabin for this Thanksgiving holiday. My parents have owned the cabin, which we share with a few other families, for over 30 years. Over the last few decades "the cabin" has become the ditching ground for second rate furnishings and home decor as each cabin owner slowly trades out the old for the new at home. This decorating strategy has created a less-than appealing, "eclectic," (not in a good way), aesthetic.
Each time I visit the cabin, I can't help but imagine what it would be like to transform the interior into the rustic, cozy, "Harvest" look.
My inspiration images are below:

plaid and pine boughs nestled near the fire

vaulted ceilings and vintage leather sofas

wrought iron beds, rock walls, and rustic lighting

layers of quilted comfort, a la Ralph Lauren

Client Inspiration: Fall Holiday Decor

This Thanksgiving one of our favorite customers, Phoebe Clement, will greet guests at her door with this creative fall display. Phoebe has filled one of our old, red rice baskets with miniature pumpkins, nestled in a bed of raffia. Her larger, white, Cinderella-style pumpkin adds another layer of color and whimsy.
Great idea, Phoebe!
More pics of Phoebe's fantastic home remodel to come...!

Festive Fall Foliage...

Placed in a rustic urn, these faux leaves and branches create a lasting holiday arrangement that will sparkle from Thanksgiving through New Year's!

Add height and life to a corner with taller branches and pine cone boughs nested in one of our old tall buckets.

Weave these glittered branches among candlesticks to create an autumn inspired table topper
