Modern Farmhouse Kitchens...

My husband and I have been house hunting lately, and each new home we encounter gets my mind spinning about how I'd transform every space. When it comes to kitchens, our preferred aesthetic (well, mine, he doesn't get much of a say), is the modern farmhouse. It's simple, clean lines are task-friendly and utilitarian, while its vintage and rustic details create an inviting and approachable appeal.

When putting together a bookcase composition, ditch the paperback summer romance novels and bright yellow "books for dummies".
