Great New Lamps...

Loving these fun, new lamps!
The rich, textured burlap shade provides a lovely and natural contrast to the smooth sea-glass-like base.

Bright ideas...

I just met a lovely couple in our Menlo Park store last night. They were admiring our awesome pendants above the cash-wrap counter, (also featured in the window in Burlingame). Our conversation inspired me to showcase these unique fixtures here on the blog. The clear shades reveal the filament lightbulbs and create a vintage, industrial appeal. The bulbs burn low and last forever. Where will you install them in your home?

Re-purposed Lighting

At Harvest, we are lucky enough to have a resident lamp builder to supply us with one-of-a-kind fixtures made from re-purposed items. Our shop owner, Karsten, is a master lighting craftsman, and has fashioned lamps from old surveying tri-pods, vintage spools, reclaimed lumber, antique pottery and the like. We are always inspired by creative craftspeople throughout the country and wanted to share some unique fixtures from a company called Conant Metal and Light in Burlington, Vermont. Keep up the good work guys!
