Whooooo knows why the owls have become such a trend? Perhaps it's because we're inspired by their principles. They are known to be wise, and it has been reported that owls mate for life, making them true, inspirational love birds!

Trend Alert: Thorn Mirrors, WHY?

I'm really not into this trend that I've been noticing lately. There seem to be more and more thorn-inspired home decor elements making their way into the design blog world and various shelter magazines.

Trend Alert: Document Fabric

Scripts, fonts, and classic ephemera are scrolled across the accessory marketplace. "Document fabric", as many retailers are calling it,  has made its way into the mainstream. The romantic swirls of signatures are gracing the covers of pillows, handbags, curtain panels, slipcovers and even lampshades.

At Harvest, we have 4 or 5 different document fabrics to choose from. All are available by the yard or on any of our upholstered pieces. We're so on trend!

Trend Alert: Shutter Style

Lately, we're seeing shutters sprinkled throughout the marketplace. This once utilitarian window covering has taken new form indoors as wall decor. 

Consider shutters to embellish your home. You'll find so many creative ways to integrate them!

We've just introduced the most adorable shutter memo board. It's absolutely functional in a home office for letters, cards, memos, invitations, etc, or display them on their own to enhance a window or mirror.
