At this very moment...

Karsten, our shop owner, just e-mailed me this crazy image of our latest shipment.
We have been expecting a giant container of new pieces from our Nantucket Collection, and it has finally arrived today!!!
So exciting!!!

This huge truck is filled with one-of-a-kind pieces made from salvaged teak. The colors and distressed patina are incredible.

...and more!

These fantastic pieces will hit the stores in the coming week, and due to over-stock, all pieces will be on sale!

Lovin' the Distressed Leather

Find these classic leather chairs in store now. All are covered in distressed hides that have the time-worn appeal of a great old baseball glove or saddle that's shaped just right.

Trend Alert: Schoolhouse Chic

The popular "accent wall" has now become a place of ever-changing art, insightful quotes, to do lists and sweet messages thanks to chalkboard paint. Raw Interiors

These days many designers are opting to expose the unrefined in order to emphasize the natural beauty of time-worn interiors. This idea of exposing the raw elements of an interior can often enhance the more finished parts of the scheme.

A Note From Kris Kringle Himself...

Don't forget that we offer in-home design consulting!
Professional, on-site design advice is available for just $25.00 an hour. Visit our design link here, or contact us to schedule an appointment to get your home ready for the new year!

Inspiration Boards...

The inspiration board is such an amazing tool of self discovery.
If you're tackling a large project, I highly recommend collecting images and items of inspiration to display on an ever-changing board in your workspace. You can constantly add to and edit your board as new ideas present themselves. Eventually, you will  find that you have come up with the right composition of elements to create the outcome you've been dreaming of.

I have found this method to be highly effective, inspiring, and fun! I know you will too!
Contact me if you need any help getting started.

Holiday Table Topper

Love our double tray with handle for the holiday table top!
Fill with candles and accent with pine boughs, or line with doilies and use to transport baked goods to the next cookie exchange, or line with a pretty linen napkin and fill with a sliced baguette on the buffet.
These trays are fantastic and functional all year round!

Alternative Packaging

If you're trying to dream up alternative ways to package small accessories, baked goods, or even gift cards this holiday, consider these vintage inspired tins. We have an abundance of sizes and motifs to choose from at Harvest.
Re-usable packaging is earth-friendly and delivers two gifts at once!

Story Boards

If these walls could talk, I wonder what stories they'd tell. Clad in rustic, reclaimed boards, these walls exude so much history and character, and give these rooms a sense of place.
a room divider with deep patina separates the kitchen and lends character to the adjacent living area.

vertical emphasis and a soft cool palette create a lofty and dreamy appeal in this attic lounge

distressed boards in the workspace might help this writer find inspiration in the past

the reclaimed, mixed-orientation walls and lighting scheme are dreamy

Cool, calm and collected

This look is actually achieved with wallpaper, printed with images of old, reclaimed planks. Looks just like the real thing!
