We've always admired those who find renewed beauty in old things. We've recently been inspired by the inventive ways lighting designers have re-purposed old wine bottles to create one-of-a-kind chandeliers.
Aren't these gorgeous? I love the way the light is diffused by the rich, green bottle glass, and how the labels start to tell a story of memorable past events.
Many Napa restaurants have embraced this trend.
Here you can see the chandeliers featured beneath the archways in the portico of Rotisserie and Wine.
Pizza Azzuro put a contemporary/vintage spin on the idea with their clear wine bottle pendants fitted with filament bulbs.
Of course, the re-use of wine elements in lighting is not limited to just the bottles...
The juxtaposition of tear-drop crystals dangling beneath a rustic wine barrel canopy is stunning in Tyler Florence's kitchen shop
We got a bit creative and used the wine barrel straps and twinkling white lights to create these inexpensive, sparkling spheres.
At Harvest, we've got the framework to help you create your own unique wine bottle chandelier.
Ours comes pre-wired and ready to hang, and it is so reasonably priced at just $185.00! (less 20% during our Summer Sale!)
So, cheers to you! ...and drink up!
These chandeliers aren't going to fill themselves! :)
